Born in 1938 in Boulogne-Billancourt (92), France.
In 1959, Philippe Friedberger graduated from the “Mural Painting” faculty of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Marcel Gromaire’s studio. He continues his studies with an additional year in the “Graphic Arts” faculty. Philippe Friedberger works for Jean Picart Le Doux and then Jean Lurçat before creating a dozen tapestries, some of which were woven at Aubusson by Société Braquenié et Cie. After fulfilling his military obligations he set himself up independently in the world of advertising. Philippe Friedberger has devoted his time solely to painting since 1992. The technique used for all of his canvases is oil painting.
Philippe Friedberger lives and works in Paris.
